At Gorenjska gradbena družba d.d. we are aware that good and qualified staff are the most important assets of the company, which is why we constantly invest in employee education. The company has a successful and highly qualified team who are proud of their knowledge, self-initiative, responsibility, good relationships, and personal development of all employees.
The company employs more than 400 workers, one quarter of whom have high, higher or university education. It also employs MScs from various fields. The company’s engineers have passed professional exams in accordance with the Construction Act, so they can act as certified engineers, responsible designers, responsible managers of general work, or responsible managers for certain types of specific work, depending on the area of the business where they are employed.
The company sends its employees to attend the latest training sessions, held at various educational institutions, throughout the year. The needs of employee education in Gorenjska gradbena družba d.d. are determined by current issues in the individual organisational units. The company primarily educates targeted key personnel, and those with the competencies required for an individual job. Employees can also communicate their education wishes at any time, which their superiors will consider if they are in line with the company’s needs. In these cases, the training is incorporated into the annual training plan.
In order to find new staff, the company hires several high school and university students for work placement and vacation work every year.
